Cloverbank Organic Farm is a Soil Association registered farm producing beef, lamb and pork, run by ourselves, Brian and Jane Clarkson.
The farm is in a beautiful, peaceful and serene setting in the Cheshire village of North Rode (bordering Gawsworth), Macclesfield.
We previously owned Butterlands Farm at Wincle which we ran as an organic farm for several years. Cloverbank Organic Farm is a new organic farming unit which we set up in 2004 and is where we now run our entire farming business.
All the meat we sell is reared by ourselves, at Cloverbank, on the clover rich fields we have established. After travelling a short distance to the abattoir the meat is then delivered back to the farm where we have our own, purpose built preparation facilities to enable us to cut up and prepare our meat to customer requirements.
At Cloverbank Organic Farm, a Farmers Market is held every third Saturday in the month, from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm in a covered building with parking space for customers.
Only genuine farmers, producers and craftspeople are allowed to sell their products – it is a fantastic opportunity to shop locally in a very friendly and relaxed environment. Refreshments are available including hot buns with Cloverbank organic meat.
