The Organic Toy Company Ltd are the leading internet-based UK specialists in quality organic soft toys.
We offer the largest choice of organic, natural baby gifts and children’s soft toys, made using the purest fabrics and maintaining ethical and environmentally-friendly principles.
What is an organic toy?
An organic soft toy consists either entirely, or partly, of fabric which is made from organically grown fibres, such as organic cotton or organic wool, which have been produced without the use of any pesticides, toxins or harmful substances.
We only stock toys which use textiles made from 100% organically grown fibres, and insist that, at the very least, the main outer fabric of each toy must meet this organic criteria.
Does your child suffer with skin conditions, such as eczema, or allergies?
By giving our organic toys to your baby or child, you’re ensuring they have the purest toys available. Did you know that non-organic cotton is grown using obscene quantities of pesticides and toxic substances? Residues of these can remain in the fabric as potential irritants to babies’ and children’s already sensitive skin and developing systems.
Ethical and environmental benefits
Not only is conventional, non-organic, cotton one of the most environmentally devastating and contaminating forms of agriculture, but unacceptable numbers of cotton farmers, and workers in developing countries are poisoned by exposure to the chemicals they have to work with, with fatal consequences for 20,000 of them every year.
We can help you choose organic baby gifts for new arrivals and even premature babies. If you’re simply looking for natural baby toys or extra-special children’s toys, we offer the best organic choices.
Show how much you care and opt for the purity of our beautifully made organic toys.
