Welcome to our website and details of our unique organic produce delivery services for London and the south east of the UK. If you are looking for the complete organic produce delivery services, where you can pick and choose exactly what you want – you have found us!
The range of organic produce – both fruit and vegetables and the vast array of organic items on sale these days can be mind-boggling; if you are a dedicated organic customer looking to source all your organic foods from one supplier - then Fieldfare Organic & Natural are the folks for you!
We can deliver to your door each almost anything you want (in the organic line – can’t do new cars, sorry); we can, and do, operate an organic box scheme if that is all you want, BUT how much better would it be if you also had us to deliver your organic baked beans for the kids, organic Expresso truffles (for Mum, who deserves them!), Sam Smiths organic lager for Dad, a huge variety of storecupboard groceries, plus meat and fish, dairy and a great range of breads including some that are gluten-free or yeast-free for those of unlucky enough to have intolerances?
Ordering can be done over the phone, by fax, or submitted on the weekly order form provided – and once you are set up as a customer, you can also order via the on-line ordering pages; take a look at the range of organic produce that we can supply.
Our deliveries cover most of London and Hertfordshire, and some of Bucks, Beds and Middlesex; there is a section further on which will tell you if we cover your area.
Fresh Organic Produce is bought to order from our UK farmers and growers; it is bought on the same week you get your organic delivery – with often only a day or two between the farmer cutting the crops and you eating it. Our growers are all long established organic farmers, who we like and respect; they work extremely hard in their chosen field (oh dear!) and we give them a fair price for their wares – one of the reasons we can’t always compete with the supermarkets on price – they in turn are loyal to us and often ask us what we want them to grow for the coming season, they also ensure that they fulfill our orders as far as possible, and the produce is at its best.
Organic produce not in season and exotic fruit all comes from a certified wholesaler in London – and often we buy three times a week for you. We keep hearing about Global Warming – when we can grow our own bananas and oranges, then we’ll know it has arrived!
Our mouthwatering range of organic breads comes from two superb bakers – The Authentic Bread Company and Pauls. Between them we have an extremely comprehensive bread list including breads for special dietary needs – yeast-free, gluten-free etc. to wonderful speciality breads to tickle every palate.
Our organic milk comes direct from Manor Farm in Dorset. Will and Pam Best have been farming and producing first class milk for years. They will also supply our cream, which is 55% and this means it is thicker than normal double cream – it will pour, but only just! We also provide many other organic dairy products from brand names such as Yeo Valley and Rachels Dairy, along with a range of dairy-free yogurts, drinks and cream.
Our organic home delivery services could also provide a full range of succulent organic meat from the Welsh Hook Meat Centre, plus some delicious speciality sausages from our prize-winning local organic butcher - Eastwoods of Berkhamsted (voted the Best Butchers in the UK, and deservedly so – his meat counter is a wondrous sight).
Fish is not organically certified because it is freshly-caught sea fish – but our local fishmonger, Terry ‘the fish’ is one of the best in the business, supplying us twice a week with superb fish fresh from the markets – he also supplies Arsenal Football Club with their fish – so if it’s good enough for the top footie players, it’s good enough for us!
