At The Cloth Seller we believe that contemporary fabrics should feel good in every single way.
Modern farming methods mean that conventional cotton is produced using harsh pesticides and insecticides. It is damaging to the environment and to the people who make the cloth, with thousands of workers dying every year as a direct result (mainly in developing countries). Chemical residues can also act as an irritant to babies and those with sensitive skin.
We are proud to offer an alternative to sewists who want to use modern fabric, but insist on their cloth being ethical, too. All our organic fabrics have been grown and harvested using sustainable farming practices. They are woven and dyed without the aid of dangerous chemicals. In short, they have the ultimate fabric 'pedigree' and all cloths are delivered with their own Certificates of Origin.
