It is both Soil Association and Demeter certified. About 150 acres are devoted to farming where permanent pastures; arable fields and orchards intermingle with areas of park and woodlands.
The farm rears organic beef, lamb and pork which is for sale all year round, and in the summer season fresh produce is available in the farm shop. There is an organic Kitchen Garden which produces seasonal vegetables and fruit.
During the open season May-September, visitors can go round the gardens, and sample the estate produce in the tea rooms. See website for opening times and further details.
Throughout the year there is an active Schools Education programme and also training courses for adults.
